This DIY Kit for a Sporty Gas Tank includes all the parts needed to make your custom chopper gas tank! Included is a stamped shell, tunnel / bottom, stock style mounting tabs for 1986 - 2003 Sportster, a vent tube (you can solder this in if desired, or not), a thread-in H-D style gas cap bung, and a 22mm outside thread petcock bung. The Sporty gas tank holds about 2.2 gallons. The tank shells are stamped from 1mm (approx. 19 ga.) steel. You can narrow, reshape, change the tunnel depth, or relocate or change the filler, or anything else you might want to do. Welding is required!
